Plate 01 — The Outpost, Kitchen at Dusk the Outpost
The Outpost is the house. Three bedrooms, two baths, and a beautiful deck. Sleeps six comfortably, ten if everyone's friendly. The room you'll spend the most time in is the kitchen — we stocked it deliberately, because group dinners are usually the best meal of any trip up here.

Plate 17 — Lilacs blooming at the deck table, May The Outpost is the place for everyone else. The one for the family group, the friends from college reuniting, the team coming out from the office for a week of working from somewhere better. Glacier and the country around it are best experienced together — a meal on the deck, a fire after dark, the kind of conversation that only happens when no one’s checking the time.
We named it the Outpost because the old stage outposts along Montana’s roads were where strangers, friends, and family stopped to sit down for a meal between long stretches of travel. Travelers waited there for the next stage, traded news, ate together at long tables. That’s the spirit of the place — somewhere to slow down, gather, share a table.
Montanans are friendly people, slow to rush, willing to make time for a conversation about the weather and your life and where you came from. The Outpost is built around that idea. Pull up a chair. Stay a while.

My family felt right at home while we stayed here. Had everything we needed and more. Very thankful I was able to stay here while we waited on our house to be finished!— Juston · November 2025

The units are sooooo cute. It's on a busy road but quiet. It was very clean and great appliances. Very close to West Glacier National Park. I had wished I had scheduled more nights there.

Loved Cabin C! Couldn’t ask for a better location. Clean, cozy, quiet, lots of natural light and crisp mountain tap water! Highly recommend this cabin 10/10. (Also really appreciated the bear spray to use if needed!!)

Great place to stay with a super accessible location! Having lived in the valley before, I was excited to see a rental available in this location. Super close to Glacier but still only a mile from Columbia Falls and all the restaurants there!
is the rate — nothing padded on top.
