Frequently Asked Questions

How far are the Cabins from the Airport?

Our cabins are a quick 15 minute drive from Glacier Park International Airport (FCA).

Where are the entrances to the park? Do they all go to the same place?

There are seven entrances to Glacier National Park and they can be grouped into the sections of the park they access: North, West, and East Glacier.

West Glacier is the main entrance and what most people think of when coming to Glacier and it is the most popular region of the park. Here you’ll find the Apgar Visitor’s Center, Lake McDonald, and the Western starting point of the famous Going to the Sun Road. At the midpoint of Going to the Sun Road, you will find Logan Pass which has incredible views and is the starting point for the Hidden Lake overlook and the Highline Trail.

East Glacier is the next most popular portion of Glacier and is broken up into three main entrances: St. Mary’s, Two Medicine, and Many Glacier.

  • St. Mary’s Entrance is the Eastern exit/start of the Going to the Sun Road and can be accessed either through the park by entering West Glacier and taking Going to the Sun road all the way to the town of St. Mary, or by driving around the park via Highways 2, 49, and 89.

  • Two Medicine Entrance is accessible south of St. Mary either through the park or around it between the towns of East Glacier and Kiowa on Highway 49. In Two Medicine you’ll find the incredible Two Medicine and Upper Two Medicine Lakes as well as Running Eagle Falls.

  • Many Glacier Entrance is accessible north of St. Mary either through the park or around it through the town of Babb. In Many Glacier you’ll find the beautiful Iceberg Lake.

North Glacier is a more remote and wild area of the park where you’re more likely to see locals hiking than tourists. The roads and trails are rougher but there is some incredible beauty to be found here.

  • Polebridge Entrance is accessible through the town of Polebridge about 35 miles north of Columbia Falls. Here you’ll find the pristine waters of Kinta and Bowman lake. If you’ve got an adventurous spirit this is spectacular area of the park to visit.
